Never have I felt so excited for 2nd day of
school. During the day I had a module on “Creative Thinking”. So my classmate
and I proceed to the class with a full stomach as we just had our lunch
earlier. The lecturer is Mr. Mickey Ho. Mr. Mickey came with a smile and
started joking around with us. He shared and explained to the class on what
actually “Creative Thinking” module is about. Is not just about being creative, is the understanding and
meaning that matters. Mr. Mickey did share with us from the famous scientist,
Albert Einstein with a quote “Imagination is more important than knowledge”
which is true. Beside that, he gave us a
video on Tales Of Creativity And Play by Tim Brown.
Throughout the video, I have learnt about 2 different concepts
on being creativity and also role-play. A quote given by him “We need trust to
play and we need trust to be creative”. As a designer we have to design something,
which helps people to feel relaxed and comfortable. Playfulness is important
because it helps us to better way to create better solution and jobs. Lastly as
a Designer, we have to put 4 important factors in our life such as Behavior,
Exploration, Building and Role-play. We have to do brainstorming and expand our
thinking to achieve professional designs.
